Wright set to make spring training debut for Mets (Yahoo! Sports)
David Wright is set to make his spring training debut for the New York Mets. The All-Star third baseman has been slowed the past few weeks by a strained left abdominal muscle. He was in the starting lineup for Monday's game against the St. Louis Cardinals in Jupiter. A five-time All-Star and two-time Gold Glove winner, Wright missed two months last season because of a stress fracture in his back.
