Gomez in Indians' rotation, Slowey sent to minors (Yahoo! Sports)
Jeanmar Gomez is in the rotation for the Cleveland Indians and veteran Kevin Slowey is on his way to the minor leagues. Indians general manager Chris Antonetti said Saturday that Gomez won the competition to be the fifth starter. Gomez has a 1.97 ERA in six spring outings.
