Lions agree to 1-year deal with RB Kevin Smith (Yahoo! Sports)

The Detroit Lions have agreed to a one-year deal with running back Kevin Smith. Smith posted a message on his Twitter account Tuesday after finding out he would be back in Detroit. The Lions signed Smith last season while running back Jahvid Best was out with a concussion and after rookie Mikel Leshoure tore his left Achilles tendon.
