Brewers plan to extend Melvin, Roenicke (AP)
Brewers owner Mark Attanasio says he "absolutely" intends to extend the contracts of Milwaukee general manager Doug Melvin and manager Ron Roenicke beyond this season. Speaking Saturday as the Brewers held their first full-squad workout this spring, Attanasio said he will address the futures of Melvin and Roenicke before opening day.
